‘The Way Things Are’, an illustration I did few days ago following an inspiration out of a Dazed&Confused page, in a comic/graphic novel style as I’d normally draw everything that’s close home. The pandemic is still and very much present in Berlin and, despite what governments say, there’s no other way but self-isolation to beat it. Anyway, something to go with today’s somber mood: this Tumblr space is a window wide open into my darkness.

It’s good to be back after such a long time. I thought about deleting this account and starting a new one, but I like to keep continuity this corner for more storytelling and for those illustrations that I love to do on the side, while I am not working on more ‘commercial’ stuff. I am reading 1Q84 at the moment. I bought the Vintage edition that concentrates the whole trilogy in one book, which means there are over 1200 pages and this book will stay with me for a while in every sense possible. I think that along with Elisabet Salander in the Stieg Larsson trilogy, Aomame is an equally powerful character.
This is ‘Aomame at the Edge of the World’ and it relates to the moment when Aomame looks out of the window and sees that there are two moons hanging in the sky..Thankfully to the Digital Wizard, I’m playing with digital far more these days and it’s fuelling my enthusiasm to the max.
