Of course this movies not for kids...it's rated R. I think you should improve your attention span....for your kid's sake.

It's rated R! If you took your kids to see a family movie, maybe you should READ the ratings!

Question......I want to see the movie because is saying it's hilarious. BUT I have never found Family Guy funny, in the least, is this movie in the same vein? I don't want to waste my money if it's not my type of humor. I love South Park and Team America humor, Borat, and that kind of stuff. So do you posters think I will like it, or hate it?

If you don't like Family Guy why go? Your dumb to waste your money if you don't like Family Guy. The guy who voiced the bear is the creator

@ E Johnson...I was wondering if it was still the same type of humor. Just because it's the same guy, doesn't mean his movie will be the same as the show. Hence the question. I guess I will just wait for the DVD and rent it. Perhaps it's rental worthy, not full ticket worthy.

If THAT is why you were "expecting something funny", you clearly went to the wrong movie.

What the hell are you trying to say? Nothing like typing broken English. Next time please post in your native language so I can have it translated.

First if you saw any of the previews BEFORE seeing the movie, you would have known it was geared towards adults and not child friendly. The fact that the movie is rated R (which means not intended for people under the age of 17 is the biggest clue without seeing the previews. You must have come out of the shallow end of the gene pool where the family tree does not fork. I feel sorry for your inbred children that have a parent with less common sense than a houseplant. I think I speak for more than just myself that it is a shame that you have reproduced and contaminated the planet with more idiots like you.

"watching a grown man hanging out drinking, doing drugs and using foul language with a talking Teddy bear just wasn't funny to me," exact quote from jknmom. Just because you don't find it funny doesn't mean everyone else won't. You knew exactly what the movie was going to be about when you went.

Well, the slaves view didn't count at one time too. Sorry, Freedom only pertains solely to you, in your way of thinkin.

@ jknmom Ok .... You KNEW what the movie was about before you even went..... A Grown man, hanging out drinking & doing drugs using foul language with a talking teddybear. If you dont appreciate that type of humor to begin with WHY on earth would you go to see the show expecing to see something else, then come home and give it a bad review calling it stupid?

I agree! If you don't like Seth McFarlane's type of humor (Family Guy or American Dad), you wouldn't like this movie. I'm a fan of both cartoons and I found the movie absolutely hysterical! As a matter of fact, I would see it again for a second time!

Wouldn't expect anything less from Seth McFarlane..Great comedy and I was impressed that they didn't try to overdo it with the humor and jokes and kept it simple and precise.

What a trashy film and a waste of time. I feel soiled just being associated with it. We walked out; but not soon enough. I tried to warn families with a negative review but couldn't get my review to take.

Make sure you go home and holy water and whip yourself for this sin. By the way God is a deadbeat father. He didnt pay child support on Jesus and left him to die for What? People are always going to sin

It's an adult movie. If you took kids to see it then God is going to strike you down.
    • Jarod 12 hours ago
why are earth would you take kids to a movie where the bear is shown humping the cash register. I think if thought it was appropriate for kids because a bear was in it makes you kinda dum.

The movie is rated R!!! Why would you thnk it would be kid friendly, just because it has a cute teddy bear in it???
  • Ishi-Atima  •  3 hours ago
Obviously you never watched the trailers. You are such a dipshit! If you were looking for a cute kiddie move, I think you can fine the "Care Bears Movie" on BetaMax somewhere.

Not a Family Guy fan, but this movie was funny.
  • J D  •  Springfield, Massachusetts  •  21 hours ago
Didn't watch the preview eh? What are you stupid? The preview pretty much tells you what the movie is going to be like. My god some people should not breed.

Jack needs to lighten up and grow a sense of humor. I would pay to see it again and probably a third time. saw it at midnight, it was sold out and everyone was laughing hysterically throughout. Sure it was crude and there was stupid humor but there were also some very clever jokes.
    • Becca 1 day 10 hours ago
Oh, since it has clever jokes, I'll be there to see it, for sure! His kind of humor is lame and appeals mostly to 12-17 yr old boys.
    • T 1 day 8 hours ago
it does appeal to us.( and some girls too, believe it or not.)
    • Marco 1 day 0 hours ago
@Becca Millions of people like his humor -_-
  • Zach  •  21 hours ago
do people not look at previews before going and seeing movies? It's rated R so the commercials on tv can't show anything! Go to youtube and watched an unrated clip to see what it will be like before you go. Common sense!!!!
