TTIP – 14th round of talks, 11-15 July

The 14th round of EU-US trade talks will take place in Brussels from Monday 11 to Friday 15 July 2016.

The talks will help pave the way for a Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership, or TTIP, between the EU and the US. Negotiators will discuss all three main parts of the agreement, namely market access, regulatory cooperation, and rules.


Stakeholder outreach – Wednesday 13 July


As in previous rounds, TTIP negotiators will spend a day hearing from, and then debriefing, a wide range of stakeholders.

1.    Stakeholder presentations event

Stakeholders will have the opportunity to explain their views on TTIP related-issues to EU and US negotiators, and other interested stakeholders. Members of the press will also attend. Check the programme.

2.    Chief negotiators’ briefing to stakeholders

EU and US chief negotiators will brief stakeholders in detail on the status of the negotiations and will exchange views with them.

Press and media briefing – Friday 15 July (Afternoon)

The Commission will hold a media briefing at the end of the talks on the afternoon of Friday15 July.

The public will be able to follow the press conference live as an EbS webstream.
