Christmas in a New Light
Now in its 31st season, the Cambridge Chamber Singers explores the light and dark of the season with old favorites and new masters. The program features Brahms's magnificent a capella motet Warum ist das Lichet gegeben aus Mühseligen (Why is the light given to those in misery), as well as transcendent Renaissance motets by Mouton and Palestrina. Ulrika Emanuelsson's The Voice from the Darkness Sings and some popular carols and spirituals round out the program.
