CE inspires! Based on our recent approach, we not only focus on European music, but also on the connection between different genres by merging music and art. Within the Camerata Europaea (CE) programmes, music, art, culture, and lifestyle each find their own and unique place.

By emphasizing the cultural dialogue we facilitate the access to art and music in our daily lives. The diverse events take the audience on an experimental and innovative journey through European cultures and artists, which enrich our lives with their charism and take an influence on our environment, are portrayed.

Additionally, our calendar now presents – next to the CE-concerts, which are committed to the issues addressed by the 2014-2020 European Agenda for Culture – selected events with European contexts. more

The festival’s motto for 2017 is 'LABYRINTH', a leitmotiv following Camerata’s principles for artistic exchange and diversity. The meaning of the wor(l)d 'LABYRINTH' varies. It can be substantial or just an idea of finding the right way out of dead ends and illusions. The many disciplines that will be involved, contribute to a labyrinth of images, sounds and impressions. People are invited to look for their own way through this garden full of ideas and art dreams. Modern compositions by young artists enforce the variety and mystery of the maze and provide the way for a dialogue between the artists and the auditory. The essential is to create a different kind of space based on human innovation and interaction. With an interdisciplinary approach the extensive program of CE stages the encounter and fusion of Music, Art, Performance, New Media and Improvisation. Concerts, performances, movies, exhibitions, interpretations, lectures and panels subserve both the audience and the artists to gain innovative impressions and discover new excitingly facets for oneself. more
