The recent weather confirms it – summer’s just around the corner! And that is something you can look forward to this year: for five weeks, Elbphilharmonie Summer offers a packed programme of top-class concerts in a relaxed atmosphere.
The Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival is a true north-German institution – and this year it has nine concerts in the Elbphilharmonie. Under the spotlight: composer Franz Schubert and the French star pianist Hélène Grimaud.
The NDR Choir and their chief conductor Klaas Stok dedicate their final concert of the season to the lush landscapes of Bohemia and Moravia, as immortalised in the works of great composers such as Antonín Dvořák, Leoš Janáček and Bohuslav Martinů.

Refreshingly different: Teodor Currentzis and his musicAeterna ensemble are really shaking up the international music world. The audience favourite returns to Hamburg with one premiere and Shostakovich’s monumental Fourth Symphony.
Tickets are available now for the popular NDR family concerts for children aged 6+: Winnie-the-Pooh experiences wild adventures with his friends. And there’s lots of fun and laughter in »Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo«: with tongue twisters and popular earworms.
In the Audience Orchestra, 90 dedicated amateur musicians come together to rehearse at a high level and give concerts in the Elbphilharmonie Grand Hall. The deadline for registering your interest in joining is 1 August.
Our popular Twinkle Concerts for children, and our »Distant Sounds« series for people with dementia and their families, can be experienced in a number of Hamburg districts, in addition to the Elbphilharmonie.
