I recorded a live performance of some songs from my new album last month at the legendary Rockfield Studios with the amazing Seeking New Gods musicians; Kliph, Osian, Steve, Mirain, Lisa and Gavin. you can watch three tracks here. Thanks for everyone who helped put it together

Hello everyone! I have news of a new album. ‘Seeking New Gods’ is being released on 21st May by Rough Trade Records and the first single ‘Loan Your Loneliness’ is out today in all the places you’d expect to hear it. You can also watch the Mark James directed video too. I made this record following a US tour with the Babelsberg band - Kliph, Osian and Steve, plus additional vocals by Lisa and Mirain and was mixed in LA with Mario C who also mixed ‘Candylion’ and ‘Hotel Shampoo’. It started out as the biography of an east Asian mountain - Mount Paektu, but eventually the album became more personal. I think it’s about memory and time. It’s still a biography of a mountain, but now it’s a Mount Paektu of the mind. The beautiful art direction is by Mark James and there are various versions of the record to choose from, including a Limited Edition Mountain Die Cut envelope-style sleeve, numbered Belly band, 2 colour Splatter Vinyl, Flexi Disc and a 10” signed print. The standard LP edition also has the Mountain Die Cut envelope-style sleeve, Belly band, and dark green vinyl. Dechreuodd fel cofiant mynydd yn nwyrain Asia - Mynydd Paektu, ond yn y pen draw daeth yn fwy-fwy bersonol. Mae o’n ymwneud â'r cof ac amser. Mae'n dal i fod yn gofiant i fynydd, ond bellach nid mynydd cyffredin mohono - ond Mynydd Paektu y meddwl!
