AT4 wireless, as one of the leading testing organizations in NFC Forum technology worldwide, has been selected to host this meeting. Micropross to Supply NFC Protocol Analyser for NFC Forum PlugfestsMicropross announced that its NFC protocol analyser, the MP300 ACL1, will be made available during NFC Forum Plugfests, in order to help interoperability testing between NFC devices. The MP300 ACL1 is a protocol analyser allowing its users to easily find out the exchanges that occur between two NFC devices. NFC Forum Leaders Present at WIMA in Monaco, 2012NFC Forum Chairman Koichi Tagawa delivered a keynote address, “Towards an Interoperable Future”, at WIMA in Monaco, April 13, 2012. First NFC Forum Application Document Now Available: Bluetooth Secure Simple Pairing Using NFCThe NFC Forum, working with the Bluetooth SIG, has completed our first Application Document, entitled Bluetooth Secure Simple Pairing Using NFC, which is available now for download. The new publication provides solutions developers with examples that show how to implement Bluetooth Secure Simple Pairing (SSP) in ways that take maximum advantage of NFC technology. It details how the use of NFC can improve standard Bluetooth use cases, such as simplifying and accelerating the pairing of two Bluetooth devices, and it describes the interaction of Bluetooth and NFC during SSP in detail and provides examples of both negotiated and static handover. Solutions providers can use these examples as guides for their own work.
