Preorder my new album “You & Me, We are the Same” now

My new album  ‘You & Me, We Are the Same’ comes out on September 3rd, but you can pre-order your copy (digital, CD, vinyl, deluxe vinyl + extras) from my Bandcamp page now (as well as from all the main independent record shops!).

I cannot wait for you to hear it. For now, here’s a little more about the album:

We are made of oxygen, carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, calcium, and phosphorus…mostly. Also feelings. We are full them. Mine feel unique to me, but they’re not. You have them too. I wrapped mine up into ten songs, which were written in a time when I was losing my dad. To omit this would be disingenuous. The making of this album weaved its way around the intense peaks and troughs:

This is not a sad album. It has moments of euphoria and fun and falling in love, as well as falling apart, because all those things still happen, even in our darkest chapters.

Tales from the (vintage) Rails – stations & swimming pools

I’ve forgotten how to do this. It’s been so long since I’ve gone on tour through Germany with nothing but a suitcase and an acoustic guitar, everything about the prospect seems daunting. The journey to my first show results in a comedy of errors, but after fumbling my way through Frankfurt’s main station, catching a …
