More about Tarik Bary

Tarik A. Bary studied German language and literature, English and Arabic Studies in Cairo and Münster Westphalia (Germany) and is currently professor at the language faculty (Al-Alsun) at Ain Schams University. He also works as an author, translator and cultural agent and is the initiator and institute director of the “Egyptian-German Culture Center” (ÄDK), which he founded as an NGO in 1998 in Heliopolis-Cairo. The institute promotes international cultural dialogue as well as the German language and culture in Egypt.
