More about Christoph Wilhelm Aigner
Born in Wels, Upper Austria, on 18 November 1954.
Studied German, Media Studies and Sports Science at Salzburg University.
Worked for ORF (Austrian Radio and Television), editor with the Salzburger Tagblatt newspaper; free-lance writer since 1985. Author of volumes of poetry, stories, translations and novels.
Lives in Salzburg.

– 2004 Anton Wildgans Prize
– 2006 Österreichischer Würdigungspreis für Literatur (Austrian Prize in recognition of literary work)
