More about Dorothee Elmiger
Dorothee Elmiger, is a Swiss writer. At the invitation of Bachmann Prize juror, Paul Jandl, in 2010 Elmiger attended the German-speaking literature sessions of ELIT and read from her novel Einladung an die Waghalsigen. She was awarded the 2nd Bachmann Prize – the Kelag Prize, endowed with 10,000 Euros. The same year her novel was nominated for the Swiss Book Prize. She was also awarded two prizes – the Aspekte Literature Prize and the Rauriser literary award – for the best debut work of published prose.
