Ann Morganová se narodila roku 1982 v Londýně. Studovala anglickou literaturu v Cambridge, univerzitu ukončila s vyznamenáním a obdržela poté titul MA in Creative Writing na University of East Anglia. Dříve než se stala spisovatelkou a editorkou na plný úvazek, pracovala pro anglickou organizaci na ochranu památníků Victoria Society. Ann Morganová psala do celé řady magazínů, případně pracovala jako redaktorka (např. Tatler, The Australian, Family History Monthly a Period Ideas). Navíc sestavovala skeče pro různé show (např. News Revue či The Treason Show) a v roce 2007 získala cenu Ten in a Bed Theatre Comedy Toboggan Sketch-Writing Award. Mezi její divadelní hry patří mj. adaptace pohádky Baboushka a moderní verze středověkých mysteriózních her. První román Ann Morganové A Breathless Hush in the Close vyšel v prosinci 2008.
