Narozena 1971 v Istanbulu, od roku 1983 žije ve Vídni. Píše německy, lyriku a povídky.
První lyrické texty dvojjazyčně (německy a turecky) v časopise „Öneri“.
Krátké povídky v antologiích „Die Fremde in mir“ (Cizinka ve mně), 1999 a „Eure Sprache ist nicht meine Sprache“ (Váš jazyk není mým jazykem), 2002.

2005 Cena v literární soutěži „Psaní mezi kulturami“
2008/2009 Státní rakouské stipendium pro literaturu
