[ Knižní tip Weltempfänger ] Did the Chinaman, Li, really set alight to all the launderettes in Buenos Aires? He is in any case condemned without reliable evidence. After the sentence is pronounced, he therefore takes the narrator hostage and takes him deep into the heart of Buenos Aires’s Chinese Quarter. Here, he becomes acquainted with a curious world and falls in love with the beautiful Yintai. A novel, narrated in pirouettes, and also highly comical – poking fun both at Chinese and Argentines.
