1971-ben született, Isztambulban, 1983 óta Bécsben él.
Költő és elbeszélő, németül ír.
Első lírai szövegei a két (német/török) nyelvű „Öneri“ című lapban láttak napvilágot.
Elbeszélései a „Die Fremde in mir“ (1999) és az „Eure Sprache ist nicht meine Sprache“ (2002) című antológiában jelentek meg.
Díjai:
2005 az „Schreiben zwischen den Kulturen“ irodalmi verseny díjazottja
2008/2009 osztrák állami irodalmi ösztöndíjban részesült
