After the sentence is pronounced, he therefore takes the narrator hostage and takes him deep into the heart of Buenos Aires’s Chinese Quarter. Here, he becomes acquainted with a curious world and falls in love with the beautiful Yintai. A novel, narrated in pirouettes, and also highly comical – poking fun both at Chinese and Argentines.
