From: Free Beach Action Date: Monday, 19 December 2005 8:43 AM Subject: Free Beach Update IV Dear Friends of Little Congwong Beach What a beautiful day at the beach it was yesterday! How peaceful! Just like last Sunday, while there was trouble on other beaches, our nude beach remained a sanctuary. Bronzed regulars and first-timers with tan lines enjoyed a great day out, happy and nude. Meantime I was writing letters to our Members of Parliament, and kept corresponding with some of the Councillors. Saturday, at the Lord Mayor's Christmas Reception, I also met one of the Randwick Councillors by chance and had a good yarn with him. He assured me that Council had nothing against naturism, and if we showed the support of residents from the Local Government Area, they would reopen the case and reconsider their earlier decision, making it clothing optional. So, fellow naturists, spread the word, add everyone onto our mailing list, Randwick residents in particular, and let's show Council that we care for our way of life, and that we support a formalised family-friendly beach. Season's Greetings Gerald
