Angela Lehner was born in Klagenfurt in 1987 and raised in East Tyrol. She now lives in Berlin.
She studied comparative literature at universities in Vienna, Austria; Maynooth, Ireland; and Erlangen, Germany.
She took part in the prose workshop of the Literary Colloquium Berlin in 2016 and the Literature Course in Klagenfurt in 2017.
In 2018, she was a finalist for the Floriana Literature Prize.
