Kurt Palm

Biographical sketch:

Born in Vöcklabruck in Upper Austria in 1955; studied German and Journalism in Salzburg; awarded a doctorate for his dissertation on 'Bert Brecht and Austria'.
Writes novels and non-fiction, produces films, operas and dramas on, among others, Adalbert Stifter, James Joyce and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (see below).
His bestseller Bad Fucking was awarded the Friedrich Gauser Prize for the best crime novel of the year in 2011, and the film with the same title has been seen by 650,000 enthusiasts in the cinema and on television.
Kurt Palm lives in Vienna.
