  • Luminous Flux is an open source project in which we experiment with a new format for covering developing stories, in an internet-native way.

It combines a moderated stream of content relevant to the topic with a dossier-like, structured overview to the story. The system remembers when you last read the story and highlights the changes since then.

Taking the liberty of changing articles and making this action a central part of the editorial process allows us to change the way we interact with content, the audience and even experiment with measuring and improving the quality of the article over time.

This Project originated at the Viennese Hackerspace Metalab and is supported by the Internet Foundation Austria in form of a Netidee grant.
