Gravatars on Rails!

December 31, 2007 | Posted by Demitrious Kelly

Mike wrote in with a link to one of his blog posts describing how he integrated gravatars into one of his Ruby on Rails projects. As always we appreciate the community coming together to fill in the gaps, and help each other. The blogging community can sometimes be a truly inspiring example of generosity and thoughtfulness! Thanks Mike!

I think your link must be broken (the link to the story).

just to let you know, everyone at greenisus has been very happy with their gravatars! thank you so much for giving me such a great way to effortlessly add personalization to my site!

  3. My host supports this Ruby on Rails; would this be a valid route to look at for integrating Gravatar support on my WordPress Blog? I’ve installed a Gravatar Plug-In however, I’m a little at a loss as to where I can apply the necessary code to make this work for comments and posts.

I’m fairly comfortable reading through code, it just doesn’t appear to be very intuitive at the moment =P

I’m just sure there’s an answer out there somewhere….so in the meantime I will continue to trawl through the Forums etc… 😀
