Beautiful, haunting, addictive
I cannot think of any other electronic artist that pulls at my heart the way Apparat does on this album. I thought Jimmy Tamborello/Dntel ended my search, but this is just wholly different and stunning in its arrangements. Even if you don't like electronic music, you will find at least three songs to love on this album. I listen to the whole thing almost every time because it is so well constructed, so emotive, so alive, dark and bright, inviting, captivating. The lyrics are exceptional, and the music is lovely. If I had the money, I would buy this album for everyone. It's the kind of album that makes you buy the next one before hearing a single track. This album is in my top five all-time. Brilliant, beautiful work.
