The nerdy, clever and incredibly diverse / ecclectic „XKCD – a webcomic of romance, sarcasm, math and language“ (Link) is one of my favorite web-based comic strips. It’s been around since 2005, and there are more than a thousand strips, so far.
There’s also a fun print edition. Here’s the Amazon.de page (Link)!

Last fall, I went through the 1000-odd strips and picked my favorites.

It’s hard to believe that the author of xkcd, Randall Munroe (Link), was born in 1984. He’s insightful, acerbic and sounds wise for his age.
It helps that he’s married… and ready to address the more complicated / existential sides of life (Link) if it helps the quality of his work.
I might post other selections of xkcd strips later on. Let me know your personal favorites, too!
