Istanbul's most famous diva Jilet Sebahat's Berlin debut is not to be missed! Jilet is performing on Friday, July 23 at Queer Gazino: An Alternative Pride Celebration 🔪🔪🔪 Jilet Sebahat, otherwise known as the Razor Blade Sebahat, is based in Istanbul’s inner-city ghetto Tarlabaşı. During a police search of her hotel room, the cut out tongues of four men were found in her bag. A reporter asked her “why did you do it?”. Jilet Sebahat replied, "Sound is an important matter. And I was just tuning the accord of the world". After spending five years in prison, she started performing at high society clubs like Çilem Bar, Gül Night, Akide Bar. Her debut album “Lan man deme bana!” is soon to be released. With her eclectic sets, including rich selection from electro arabesque to daily pop, and tracks from Dilber Ay to Cher, she invites the audience to her funny, mischievous and provocative life.
