Purpose of Data Collection

The Rocket Science Group LLC d/b/a Mailchimp maintains an online, multi-channel marketing platform that allows users to manage their contacts, and to create, send, and manage certain marketing campaigns, including, e.g., emails, advertisements, websites and mailings. Mailchimp allows users to upload email addresses and other contact profile information, including, e.g., name, physical address, and other demographic information into our system. This information is used to send emails and enable the use of certain other Mailchimp features on behalf of our users. Consistent with our posted Privacy Policy, we share some information with third-party service providers to provide and support the services we offer. We also share some information about our users or their accounts with third-party partners to help us better understand our users’ needs and interests in order to serve more relevant content and targeted advertisements to these users and others like them.
