The Playlist Bar
You may have noticed a feed of videos appear at the bottom of the page when you load a YouTube playlist. This is the playlist bar.
The playlist bar makes watching a playlist easy and simple, letting you to browse through videos in a playlist without interrupting the video you're enjoying.
The playlist bar will appear when you add a video to any existing Playlist (including Watch Later and Favorites or when you create a new Playlist. It will also show up when you select Play all for a Playlist. You can access your lists by clicking on your username in the top right hand corner of any YouTube page.
Playing videos from the playlist bar
To play the next or previous video, click the arrows visible on the top of the bar.
To scroll through the videos in your loaded playlist, click the dark arrows on the left and right of the playlist bar.
The icons on the top left of the bar, from left to right, allow you to autoplay and shuffle the playlist bar.
To hide the playlist bar, click the double arrows on the far right end of the bar.
Options in the playlist bar
On the far right side of the playlist bar, click Options to bring up a menu similar to the one below:
» Edit or delete this playlist appears when you click options on one of your own playlists. Click this to go to the playlist edit page, where you can make changes and delete the list.
» Save as a new playlist will allow you to save another user's playlist or your Watch Later list as a new playlist accessible from your account
» More information about this playlist will send you to the playlist page for the playlist loaded in the bar
» Load a different playlist allows you to select another one of your playlists to load in the bar
Editing lists in the playlist bar
Lists I own:
» You can select, drag and drop thumbnails in the list to re-order videos in your list
» By hovering over a thumbnail and clicking the 'x' that appears, you can permanently delete a video from your playlist
» Click undo to restore the video. This will place the video at the end of the playlist.
Other users' lists
» If you don't own the list, you will not be able to remove or re-order videos from that list.
» You can shuffle videos in another user's list, but you're unable to edit videos in another user's list.
Please note: When you have your Watch Later list loaded in the playlist bar, you will be given the option to Clear all videos from this list, this will permanently remove all the videos from your Watch Later list.
