Biographical sketch:

Born in Sarajevo in 1981, translates literature from the Balkans, including texts by Barbi Markovic.
Graduated in Translation Studies (English and Russian).
Lives in Vienna and has done work on the phenomenon of migration as a journalist for the Vienna daily newspaper Der Standard;
works as an interpreter for conferences and in connection with asylum seekers;
teaches at the universities of Innsbruck and Vienna.
