Nadine Kegele was born in 1980 in Bludenz, Vorarlberg. She completed training in office administration before studying German studies, drama, and gender studies. She earns a living as a secretary, financial assistant, media planner, and editor. She was accepted to the German Literature Institute in Leipzig and the writing workshop of the Schauspielhaus Vienna. She is currently completing basic education training with refugees at the Vienna Adult Education Center.
She writes for the charitable newspaper Augustin. She lives in Vienna.
