These trunks seem restrictive, ridiculously expensive and uncomfortable.

Seriously, who in their right mind pays this much for swim trunks?
Let me rephrase that, I would never pay this much for swim trunks because I am in my right mind. I swim all year round, and I get a few swim trunks from Old Navy in the summer season which serves me through the remainder of the year and into the next summer season, when I get a few more pairs.
Last year I paid $10 a pair and got seven pairs which are still in use. I will be getting another seven pairs in August when they go on sale, and hopefully they will be around the same price. Seven pairs at $10 or $12 dollars a pair makes way more sense than buying one pair for $74.50 (which is the cheapest pair).
Somethings I do not mind spending a premium to obtain, swim trunks is not one of these things.

Yeah- I'm going to pay $75 and up for a pair of $2 swim trunks. What kind of dip sheet is that stupid? EuroTrash-Americans who are trying to be broke dick dogs like EuroTrash? And of course the losers from the Balkans. If it has any logo they are in.

im still wearing the swim shorts i bought from target 5 years ago for 10 bucks. and they even look just as good as these.

the trunks ALL the guys wore when i was growing up(80's) were bird or byrd...something. they looked really good in those!

These trunks look like something out of 1982. If you wore these to the beach people would absolutely be looking, pointing, and laughing. When I see these trunks all I can think of is Tom Selek in the tv show Magnum P.I.

You all must be smoking crack. there's no way in hell that most guys are going to spend more than $20-$25 for trunks.

While the prices are ridiculous for a simple piece of fabric, the styles are nice. It seems we are going back to the late 50's/early 60's when Jazz was hot and surfer music was just finding a niche! Nice.
