Season Premiere: Matt LeBlanc is back to poke more fun at his “Friends” persona as Season 2 of Showtime’s inside-showbiz satire kicks off this week. Playing himself here, LeBlanc is the star of a dumbed-down adaptation of a British sitcom created by husband-and-wife team Beverly and Sean. And since Matt and Beverly slept together last season, Sean’s not speaking to either of them. Well, how can you blame her? He probably pulled out the old “How you doin’?” line, and that thing never fails.

Vampire Pam plays the role of maker this week, helping her new offspring Tara adjust to life as a bloodsucker. But she’s also worried about her relationship with her own maker, Eric, as he and Bill search for who else might’ve known about Russell’s final resting place. Meanwhile, Roman smells a rat in his inner circle, and Terry and Patrick go out looking for a former comrade.

James Franco seems to really love soap operas: He follows up his recent stint on “General Hospital” by joining the cast of Nick at Nite’s new music-industry soap this week. Franco plays Oz Silver, a charismatic movie mogul who’s determined to recruit rocker Eddie Duran for his latest project -- and Oz is used to getting what he wants. So is Franco; he’s clearly angling for a Soap Opera Digest award here.

Season Premiere: Get ready for one last toke, as Showtime’s pot-dealing dramedy rolls up its eighth and final season this week. Last we saw weed-slinging mama Nancy, she and her family were enjoying a nice meal -- just as an unknown shooter took aim at them. Who got shot? And who’s the shooter? We’ll get answers to both of those questions on the premiere, plus see Shane continue to pursue his dream of joining the police academy. Uh-oh… hope they don’t look too deep into his family background.

This week on “Everybody Hates Teresa,” Kathy’s sister Rosie is the latest to take shots at her fabulicious cousin, confronting Teresa about the things she’s said about Kathy. “But it was a joke!” Teresa will probably say. (Because that makes it okay to say anything!) Plus, Teresa and her brother Joe finally head to therapy together and dig up some long-buried issues, and Jacqueline and Caroline decide whether to disinvite Teresa to their Napa trip.

Series Premiere: Look to the skies! Nat Geo’s new reality series follows a team of extraterrestrial experts as they investigate UFO sightings and try to uncover evidence of life on other planets. The “Chasing UFOs” squad includes scientist Ben McGee, tech geek Erin Ryder, and “UFOlogist” James Fox. This week, the team looks into reports of strange flashing lights in the skies over Texas.
