The Leopold Museum houses the world's largest Egon Schiele collection and masterpieces by Gustav Klimt. Additionally, paintings, graphics and objects of the 19th and 20th centuries, including precious handicrafts and original art nouveau and Wiener Werkstätte furniture, are on view.
The Leopold Museum was established in 2001 on the basis of the former private art collection of Rudolf and Elisabeth Leopold. In the meantime it has become the most-visited museum in the Vienna MuseumsQuartier.

Das Leopold Museum, im Museumsquartier Wien, beherbergt neben der weltgrößten Egon Schiele-Sammlung Meisterwerke von Gustav Klimt. Weiters zu sehen sind Gemälde, Grafiken und Objekte des 19. und 20. Jahrhunderts , darunter kostbares Kunsthandwerk und originales Mobiliar des Jugendstil und der Wiener Werkstätte.
Das Museum entstand 2001 aus der ehemals privaten Kunstsammlung von Rudolf und Elisabeth Leopold und ist inzwischen das meistbesuchte Haus des Wiener Museumsquartiers.
