iTunes Editors’ Notes

Blank Project received positive critical press and clearly reinvigorated an artist who’s always at her best when she’s pushing past her comfort zone. This deluxe edition includes the original album, brilliantly controlled by producer Four Tet (Kieran Hebden) and played out by Cherry and RocketNumberNine (Thomas and Benjamin Page). It also adds nine remixes that take it out of their hands. The new mixes prove how flexible Cherry’s work can be. “Everything” and “Spit Three Times” each receive three workovers that reinvent the songs with additional rhythms and atmospheres, as dance remixes do. It’s meant for those who choose body over mind.
