Even the soundtrack to this star-crossed love story is a tearjerker. Ed Sheeran, Jake Bugg, Tom Odell, Ray LaMontagne, Birdy—these are heavyweights when it comes to writing raw, emotionally gripping songs. Sure enough, they deliver: "I spent half this morning thinking about the t-shirt you sleep in," sings Birdy on "Tee Shirt," capturing the joy and pain of young love with heartrending poignancy. (Birdy's roughly the age of the film's protagonists, which helps.) Kaleidoscopic pop troupe Grouplove set their typically ecstatic sound to smolder on "Let Me In," and even pop-hop upstart Charli XCX broods a bit on "Boom Clap." Bookended by Sheeran's plaintive "All of the Stars" and M83's soaring "Wait," this record should come with a box of tissues and a bowl of warm soup.

Individual Songs
I really feel like they should let you buy individual songs, they would make so much more money. I assume that I am not the only one who will not buy the album because i only want 1 or 2 songs. So lots of lost business there. I think they should reconsider the album only thing.

Ed Sheeran, Jake Bugg, Grouplove, Birdy, Ray LaMontagne, Lykke Li, M83, ARE YOU KIDDING ME? This is going to be AWESOME. Loved the book, can’t wait for the movie, and this soundtrack is going to be fantastic.
Great Songs But...
I think these are good songs but the only one I really want to buy is All of the Stars and I'm upset because it's one of the 'album only' songs. I'm sure I can't be the only one who's annoyed about this. Please change it!
