Album Review

More of a hodgepodge of tracks than a coherent album, this still includes the Top Ten hits "I'm Your Man," "A Different Corner, " and "The Edge of Heaven."

Underrated Album

Honestly I only got this album for "Last Christmas." But most recently I started to listing to the whole CD and it's fantastic. My favorite tracks are "Last Christmas", "The Edge of Heaven" and espically "Blue." "Blue" is one of the most underrated George Michael songs, but it's such fantastic catchy tune that puts a smile on my face. Anyway I would recommend getting the whole album because it's just a great listen.

Wham! goes out with a "Bang!"

The last album of the homo-erotic Wham! duo, George Michael will become the crucial part of the duo after this record. Not as iconic as their breakthrough, "Make It Big" but holds on quite well. "The Edge of Heaven" and "I'm Your Man" where mild hits in 1986, when another homo-erotic British duo, the Pet Shop Boys, were just warming up. You want to download this album however, for George Michael's other Christmas megahit (the other being Band Aid's "Do They Know Is Christmas?") "Last Christmas". That track alone is worth the download. You know you'll be playing it every year around the holidays. Worth a download. Give it a shot.

the 80`s were cool

Wham! sparked something of a pop revival in the mid-'80s and could arguably be held responsible for sparking off the boy band trend of the '90s. They were unashamedly pop, to the point of padding the front of their trousers for television appearances. At the heart, however, was a string of catchy singalong singles written...
