Der Verlag Readux Books und die Literaturzeitschrift Edit haben einen Literaturwettbewerb für junge deutschsprachige Prosa ausgeschrieben. Mitmachen kann jeder unter dreißig, es winkt ein Preisgeld und Veröffentlichung. Einsendeschluss ist der 31. Mai.
Initiatorin Amanda DeMarco kommentiert dazu per Mail:
„Well, Readux ended up translating one of the winners of Edit’s 2012 essay prize (Francis Nenik) in the first round of books we published, and through that we all just figured out that we had similar interests, so hence the collaboration between Readux and Edit. I think one of the exciting things about Readux being based here is that we can have this really direct and natural connection with what we’re translating, and I’m motivated to find acquisition methods that take advantage of that and build an unmediated relationship with German writing.“
