How cool is that! I just signed up on Disqus recently. It’s great to know that everything I’m on now is interacting with each other. It makes conversating online easier to track.

    That’s great.

  4. […] 3. Disqus: I don’t know quite as much about this service, as I haven’t encountered it personally. They also don’t have a snazzy intro video on their site, so that’s minus some points for them. I found an article that chooses Intense Debate over Disqus, but I easily found an article that took the other stance, so if you debating between these two, you should figure out what you’re looking for, then contact people who use each of them. Most likely you’ll be happy with either service, but you might as well get as much out of it as you can. Like the idea of Disqus, but still want Gravatars? Well, luckily for you, they support Gravatars! […]

  10. Wow Disqus commenting system is now supporting gravatar, i am really enjoying to do comments on Disqus.

  11. We have some problems with it. All Gravatars are broken since today. It seems there are some bugs. Disqus is importing all gravatars and saves them on their own server. But now there are no more gravatar images there. Take a look at This: http://media.disqus.com/uploads/anonusers/1765/6593/avatar32.jpg anyone with the same issue?

Unfortunately once Disqus copies an image to their servers, we can no longer control if it loads or not, since they stop pointing at our copy. If they loaded the images directly from us then we could help/make sure they are always available.
