The first piece, MGV is typical of the Nyman I enjoy. On my two speakers built into the wall (infinite baffles) Nyman's repetitive style jumps out at you and carries you along as you would expect of a piece giving images of railway motion. Great stuff!
The piano concerto was completely unfamiliar to me but has elements that will reward me with more playings. The moods are quite different for each movement, and much in the atonal mode. This is a disc for the future and worth study.
