Opinion: The ObamaCare Election

... welcome back ... opinion Journal I've ... now joined by Yun Bill McGurn ... on to talk to James and me about the political fallout from this ... specifically how it affects the Romney camp a ... home ... I personally think ... as bad as the decision was that Tom ... Romney has been given an opportunity here to dob ... he was expecting ... yet I mean the Governor Romney has to make this from the center of this campaign because is not just about health care ... it's about the delineation of ours ... were there we have a European ... type system is going to expand taxing authority ... to cover connectivity for social welfare ... program or whether we have ... no more American view of people looking out for themselves and I think that fits very well I think he did a good job ... his first message was ... the few want to get rid of Obamacare you have to get it if Obama ... and as you said this decision ... that helps a little bit and then a lot of people that don't like in the minds of Wells Supreme Court took away ... Obamacare now she really wanna go on ... you get for a reason to step up to James ... went up so we have ... to tell them they are in ... trouble with this obviously during the primaries and given his history in Massachusetts and creating kind of a prototype ... you know he was ever really euro and ease of ... making this case lets GOP's the ensuing months in part to prepare for this moment he may not want and health care to be at the center of the campaign but are designed to avoid well what's really at the center of this issue has demanded that was lost on popular part ... of the health care law I've also always thought that Mitt Romney should simply separate himself from the mandate will this one and one in Massachusetts there was a mistake but the American people don't wanna buy it can easily say which she hasn't ... had the states are made for experiment is kind of ... said that the states could do this we tried something the Democrats needed a little different from what I want ... to present Obama took the exact wrong lessons to the worst aspects and blew it up into this ... this big deal ... but I think also for the Republicans not just for Romney ... you would of been a tendency to be lazy and served to say OK the court got rid of it we don't have to do ... James obviously the conservative base is energized angry about this ... do you think it's going to last for four months what's your grocery also the question of by his turnaround can be materially affected because I would say the conservative base was already pretty motivated to get rid of Barack Obama ... so you know maybe at the margin there is a little more I would expect where you'd see maybe a little more immediate impact is on the fund raising ... because this Don't Save the particularly anyone who's in ... a business anyone work remotely connected to health care ... that it's now it's now coming um what's ... the change happens in November so I think there is there is going to be ...
