Born 1987 in St. Pölten, Lower Austria. Studied Sinology and Computer Science at the University of Vienna. Researcher and Project Manager in the Center for Virtual Reality and Visualization. Author and translator of short Chinese prose and poetry. She has received numerous awards for her literary works, her debut novel Chucks (DVA 2012) was filmed in Austria in 2015 (DOR Film).
Texts by Cornelia Travnicek have been translated into the following languages: English, Italian, Spanish, Estonian, Arabic, Japanese, Russian, Chinese.
