iTunes Review

Best known for their breakout hit "You're a Jerk," which arguably launched the short-lived "jerk music" fad a few years back, the New Boyz return with their second full-length, expanding their sound to include more than just the minimal 808-centric beats that blew them up in the first place. In terms of lyrics, they find beauty in repetition, with loads of catchy hooks and chanted choruses that are sure to stay stuck in your head, focusing mostly on girls and on themselves, while the production is straight over-the-top 2011 pop, with plenty of AutoTune and walls of synths. Check out the Chris Brown collabo "Better With the Lights Off," the ‘80s-influenced "Magazine Girl," and aggressively upbeat "Meet My Mom."
