Editors’ Notes

Steven Wilson excels at ambitious projects that bring the finest musicians and cutting-edge technology together. In another era, this album might be 2112 or The Wall. Presently, it’s a masterwork partly inspired by the story of a 38-year-old woman whose body was discovered in her London flat several years after she’d died, despite having friends and family. Wilson imagines a living woman, her thoughts and her rituals for coping with everyday living. Dramatic, extended instrumental work (“First Regret,” “Routine,” “Home Invasion,” “Ancestral”) exists within conventional songs, creating a monumentally virtuosic and poetic emotional work worthy of its grandeur. The deluxe edition adds radical mixes of “Perfect Life” and “Routine.”

Simply Awesome

I love Steven and the mighty
Porcupine Tree. As much as I miss PT, thi
this album is taking me back in to the
Golden Days of In Absentia, which is
one of my favorite PT album. This also
has a taste of Blackfield which I love
as well. March feels like forever to
wait for the rest of this album. If you
are a fan of progressive rock, Steven,
like he said 20 years ago, is "bringing
it kicking and screaming," not to the
1990s, but to the 21st century. Steven
Wilson, IMO, is one of the greatest
musical minds in the world. This
album is further proof of his
greatness. Buy this album! :-)

Steve Wilson can do no wrong

I have always said that Steve Wilson has the Midis Touch with everything he does musically. From PT to Solo to Blackfield to producing, it all sounds great. The title song for this CD is no different.but it is so upbeat for him it took me by surprise. I am so used to his dark lyrics but I am not disappointed, I enjoy every twist and turn he takes us on.

Steven Wilson Hand.Cannot.Erase

Steven just keeps getting better and better!! This new album is definitely going to be a "Cut above the Rest". To be honest I personally don't listen to new music anymore because it's all a bunch of noise process through a computer.
I fell upon Steven Wilson music by accident back in 2009 hearing Porcupine Trees Deadwing and I thought this old school "Art Rock" from the seventies, Yes, ELP etc... I have been buying his music since that time.
I personally recommend that if you really appreciate outstanding classic music made in the studio with a full band and not process through a drum machine and computer, you need to go out and pre-order this album. Thank you for listening.
