Album Review
Polydor's Level Best is a thorough, successful overview of the smooth, jazzy British sophisti-pop outfit, containing all of their biggest hits and best material, including the sublime "Something About You." At 18 tracks, it may run a little long, but it still is as comprehensive a summary of Level 42's career as could be hoped.

My favorite musical instrument is the Bass Guitar
THe lead guitarist for Level 42 is the bass and he ROX! I wish I was that good!
Very good cross section of the band
As with most "Best Of" albums the album lack continuity. However the album makes up for it with its list of 80's favorites "Something About You" and "Lessons In Love" and samples some not-so-radio-played songs such as "Its Over" and "Take a Look". The rest of the songs range from ballads to snappy jazz beats.
Level Best
This album captures all that was good from the late 80s music from across the pond. Level 42 always had some thing in their albums that went with what ever mood you happen to be in at the time. This is no exception this is the must have.. the title says it all, it is the “Level Best” .
