Caribou's Best

"Melody Day" is without question the best song I've heard in quite a long time. Very rhythmic, very psychedelic, and very pretty. Most notably, the sound here is more reminiscent of a live band than anything Caribou has done before (those who've been lucky enough to see one of his live shows ought to have an idea of what to expect). Simply put, "Melody Day" is an incredible track all around. Anyone with even a passing interest in Caribou's work will be especially thrilled at this new output. Four Tet's reworking is equally as wonderful (of course). He comes at the original from a completely different angle which, for any remix, is a very pleasant surprise. "Zoe" is a kaleidoscope. Very much a quality track, not to mention it's just a b-side. Another good one to listen closely to.

United By Caribou

Did you hear? The song "Melody Day" was used in Globe: United By Fate. Because I love Globe it turned me to theis awesome EP and I must tell you I like it a lot. Plus I'm exited that Four Tet got in on it! Go Globe! Go Caribou! Get "Melody Day" from Andorra because that album is awesome. "Zoe" is a colourful zoopraxiscope that swilrs around and around and the Four Tet Remix is soft, sad and beautiful. Get them all.
