Sleepwalk

One of the all time great closing songs for high school dances. This version is a re-make, not the original single version. It doesn't take you back in time like hearing the original instrumental one does. But then, maybe that's just me.

Disappointing

This may be Santo & Johnny (possibly) but it sure isn't the recording that was the hit. The instrumentation is different; the feel is different; the signature major 7th lick is played differently. Very disappointing.

Great Song

Where does it say this is re- recording? I Googled the song and found out this is the original band. People need to do their homework before they post comments.

Best remembered for their instrumental guitar classic "Sleepwalk," brothers Santo and Johnny Farina were born and raised in Brooklyn. Inspired by the country music he heard on the radio, Santo adopted the steel guitar as a teen, and at age 14 he formed an instrumental trio, soon after writing his first original songs.
