Pretty good for a soundtrack.
It's actually more like a 4 1/2 for me. It's all good though. Tihs album really surprised me because I had no idea a simple soundtrack could have so mnay hot beats and great rhymes by a bunch of different artists. The songs that really stood out to me were: -I Got Rhythm (Take The Lead Remix) -Take The Lead (Wanna Ridde) <-- Best song. -Feel It -Here We Go and -Whateva So if you love Hip-Hop and R&B, this is defnitely the soundtrack for you. No doubt.
get up and move
this album couldnt be packed with better songs to get you out of your seat and dance!!!!!! With songs like "Take the Lead" and "I Like That" heading the albums already infectious beats and hooks, you cannot help but move while listening to this album. A perfect blend of latino hip-hop and dance/hip-hop sounds, this CD us meant to dance too. If you like dancing, singing, working out, running, this is the album for you. A jammed pack, energetic, fun, album made for whoever likes to dance.
Excellent
The movie is great even though you've seen this storyline before; you know, a group of inner city kids who just need a little guidance and support. The fact that it's based on a true story doesn't hurt either. After seeing the movie I came home and bought the soundtrack. Usually there are only two or three good songs on any movie soundtrack; however, this one is different. The entire soundtract is EXCELLENT.
