Beyoncé Knowles wasn't exactly taking a huge commercial risk when she put Destiny's Child on the back burner for Dangerously In Love, her 2003 solo debut. She definitely stretched herself, though; "Crazy In Love," the Chi-Lites-sampling, Jay-Z-starring single that all but re-defined R&B for that year, was more raucous, more challenging than anything the superstar had done in the group's context. That wasn't the only moment here with badass staying power, either: Check out "Baby Boy," which successfully grafted her style to that of Dancehall king of the moment Sean Paul, or the thoroughly convincing "Naughty Girl." Splitting the difference between styles — and forgoing the mistakes made by other "divas" — she also made plenty of time for ballads. Standouts include the near-title tune "Dangerously In Love 2," a track that helped keep the album's long legs running.

Simply the One the Greatest Album

This album is so nicely put together. The colabrations are so unique and adds a nice touch as well. 1. Crazy In Love [5/5] - This song iz upbeat, you can dance to it ,its catchy and sets up a high expection of th album. 2.Naughty Girl [4/5]- I used to love this song but it gets repetive at times. This song is something you can get freaky to. lolz. 3. Baby Boy [5/5]- I give this a weak five because it doesn't exactly show the best of her voice but it is an awesome colboration to it. I love the video more. 4. Hip- Hop Star [3/5] - I love Big Boi's part in this but Beyonce seems to just simply sound sexy when she singing. But I love the beat. 5. Be With You [4/5] - I give this a weak four because its not orginal but I love her voice it sounds so passionate ( no homo). 6. Me, Myself and I [5/5]- This song is so great. It is an anthem for all ladies going through hard times. I love this song with a passion. 7. Yes [3/5] I give this a weak three b/c she sounds nice and its an okay song but I wasnt really feeling it. 8. Signs [3/5]- Its a fun song to sing when your bored and or just thinking about past people. 9. Speechless [5/5]- I love this song so much it is so beautiful and I love the beat its very entrancing. 10. That's How You Like It [2/5] - Don't really like this song. It reminds me too much of a slower version of Bugaboo mixed with Blaque's She ain't got the Boom like I do. 11. The Closer I get to You [3/5] - Its not orginal but it has Luther in it and it sounds very beautiful with him in it. 12. Dangerously In Love 2 [5/5]- This song has passion and fire and I LOVE it. Her best love song yet. 13. Beyonce Interlude [3/5] - I ove this so much its beautiful alomst like poetry. 14. Gift from Virgo [4/5]- I love the jazzy beat it sounds so soothing. 15. Daddy [3/5]- Very touchy ending to a great album.

This is one of the CD's that you can listen through the whole thing without changing any of the song.....And I know that I don't have alot of those CD's lol.
