The Best of the Saga, But Still Flawed ...

In my personal opinion, I believe Empire brought in more themes than all of the original trilogy. There's so many motifs used in this score than from the first, that it spans throughout the entire saga. While many agree that this is the best Star Wars -- and I agree -- there are a few flaws Williams hasn't approached properly. Some of the tracks are really, really boring. Some however are grand. Some I liked: * The Asteroid Field * Imperial March * Betrayal at Bespin and so on ... Others, mainly the Yoda themes, are what I'm talking about in lagging. Nonetheless, Empire's score is the best of the saga, and though it is still flawed, it is a classic that will stand the test of time. Buy this. Enjoy.

Classic Williams

This is a great album, probably one of my favorite scores by John Williams. However, it's unfortunate (and I'm not blaming iTunes) that this is just a partial album. You can still get some great songs, but the music from the Empire Strikes Back was truly a score -- something that's meant to be listened to from beginning to end. It has a type of continuity that this partial album lacks. Regardless, there's some wonderful music hear. But for those of you who want to dig deeper, consider purchasing the entire album. You won't regret it.

I love Starwars

This is a great soundtrack. I wish Starwars wuz real!
