Jawoll ja! Bereits Ende letzten Jahres wurde bekannt, dass Jonathan Safran Foer nach elf Jahren mit „Here I Am“ im September seinen neuen Roman veröffentlicht. Heute verriet Foers deutscher Verlag Kiepenheuer & Witsch auf seinem Facebook-Profil, dass auch die Übersetzung nicht lange auf sich warten lässt: „Hier bin ich“ erscheint bereits im November 2016!
„Here I Am“, eine Anspielung auf das 1. Buch Mose, in dem Abraham „Hier bin ich!“ zu Gott sagt, erzählt von dem Leben einer fünfköpfigen Familie:
