Sandra Gugic, born in 1976 in Vienna, is an Austrian author of Serbian origin. She studied at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna and at the German Literature Institute in Leipzig. In 2012 she won the Open Mike Berlin. Her first novel Astronauten was published in 2015 and received the Reinhard Priessnitz Prize. Sandra Gugic works as a freelance writer and lives with her family in Berlin.
